CAP Plc maintained an average of #1.7billion in terms of revenue and #400million in terms of profit after tax PAT in 2016.
The company was not able to achieve its mission statement to grow its top-line by 20% annually at an EBIT
profitability of 28%. The Economic headwind of 2016 part of the reason behind the dismal performance off its mission.
With expected improved activities in the country and the early passage of the 2017 budget, CAP should have a good year and in all, most of the manufacturing companies. The Market is expected to give the stock a chance in the coming days with a dividend yield of 7.8% at a price of #28.20k last closed price.
UACN still remains the major shareholder with a shareholding of 50.09%, couple with the fact that CAP is the Market leader in most of the Category its competing.
